Power BI on LOCALHOST

SERIOUSLY. Power BI now runs stand-alone on a laptop. Power ON’s Integrated Business Suite is running on localhost, disconnected from the internet. What this means for business users is that Power BI can run inside the corporate Firewall.

To get started:

• Install Power BI Report Server on a local server
• Enable Visual Planner on the Power BI Server
• Integrate with the on-premises ERP Solution, including Dynamics NAV, AX, GP, SL.
• Develop a Power BI Desktop Workbook, and publish it to the local Power BI Report Server
• Let your users analyze the data, enter projections and submit forecasts, and save data in the SQL database powering the solution
